OpozO adheres to the following general principles when processing personal data:
We understand many visitors to our website will be children. OpozO is committed to protecting individuals’ personal data online and adheres to the Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU) and Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (called COPPA) guidelines in addition to the EU General Data Protection Regulation. We encourage parents to discuss this policy with your children so that they will understand how to use this website. OpozO believes that providing you and your child with information about our website and how we use personal information will help you better protect you and your child’s privacy. OpozO does not want to collect any information that you, as a parent, are uncomfortable having your child submit to us.
Our Safety Guidelines strictly prohibit the posting of information that could personally identify a child, such as their photo, real name, email address, phone number or physical location, unless the parent has explicitly agreed to allow such, perhaps about playing games with us at Games Events or becoming a contest winner for any competition we may hold. We also aim to prevent children from being exposed to web content that might make them feel anxious or frightened, so we rigorously regulate links to outside websites.
From time to time, we may undertake or commission consumer and educational research projects, and we may share personal data with third-party research establishments and organisations for this purpose. Also, such third-party research companies may host survey data in their databases on our behalf. All data transfers for this purpose will be subject to a written agreement between us and the third-party in question who will not be provided any authority to use such personal data for any purpose other than as instructed by us.

OpozO uses pixels, or transparent GIF files, to help manage online advertising. These GIF files are provided by our ad management partner, Google Analytics™. OpozO ONLY accepts photos of games constructions and other outputs generated from OpozO components for contests, promotions and posting to our Photo Gallery. We do not solicit or accept ideas for new products or suggested new game themes, challenges or components.
The reason is not that we believe only we can come up with new and exciting ideas for OpozO Games, that is clearly counterintuitive to how the OpozO Modular System is meant to deliver value to our customers. Rather, it has to do with conflicts that arise as to the derivation of OpozO ideas.
From time to time, we may have people claim to have invented just about everything we do, including having come up with OpozO before we did, or they may claim that they submitted a concept that was the “inspiration” for something we’ve later marketed. None of these claims will have any basis to be even remotely true, yet despite this we may be faced with the aggravation and time that is required to deal with these claims.
Therefore, to prevent possible misunderstandings about who owns the rights to the OpozO Modular System and the various components and products generated from our unique modular system that we sell, anything you send to us will be considered by us as non-confidential and nonproprietary, meaning that you recognise and agree that you are freely giving us the right to use it any way we wish. This may include making and selling products based upon such material, licensing the material to others or posting your ideas/photos on our website and owning the intellectual property rights in and to such ideas.
If you wish to send any photographs or other materials to OpozO, you MUST follow these simple instructions:
